Globe Wheelers are on their way from the Kazakh border to Kostanay town in Kazakhstan. A region rich in objects with historical-cultural heritage, Kostanay boasts of an ice stadium too.
On their way from Kazan, Globe Wheelers traversed through the majestic and mineral rich Ural mountains in Russia; the dividing line between Europe and Asia.
Interesting Fact: The Ural Mountains are one of the richest mountain ranges in the world. Mined for salt, silver, gold, gems and semi-precious stones which include emerald, beryl, amethyst, topaz and sapphire. Mining also produces coal, iron, copper, gold, platinum, silver, nickel, aluminum, manganese, lead, zinc, magnesium, chromium, potash, salt, building stone, talc, diamonds, and soapstone. And oil too is found west of the Ural area.
